Hotel Golden Key Prague Castle

Everything was perfect, the location, the hotel, the staff ( above helpful), the room, the free coffee, the cleanliness, perfect shower, and breakfast was fab!!

Great spot, just off the local square that has plenty of shops/cafes restaurants etc, up a slight hill towards the castle (5min walk) and left through a cool entrance archway to a lovely airy building, very quiet and well located for everything you need. 40 mins on public transport from the airport to the square! Reception was wonderful, helpful and friendly with a glass of Prosecco and generally staff were excellent. Facilities very clean and well maintained. Breakfast straightforward and ample. If like me you are going to explore a city and you don’t want to spend too much time at, or money on the hotel, then this is for you, although they do also have a courtyard garden and games room if you are at ends for something to do (not likely). Some pubs and restaurants within a 2 minute walk all good! Great value for money. I’ll visit again

The room was one of our best - ever - even boasting an (almost) private terrace through French doors. “Almost” private because any other intrepid guest could have used it — but they’d have to find the door and that’s a secret known only to the lucky occupants of Room 1 (or any guest who cares to ask, I’m sure.) Anyway, the room was fabulous — quiet, comfortable, luxurious and private.

The hotel is very clean, our room was immaculately clean. The room had very high ceilings, with a beautiful design painted on the wooden beams. The staff were reserved, but courteous and helpful. It was also not too hot inside the room, which is often an issue at hotels. The area is very nice, busy during the day and quiet at night. It feels very safe.
